MEP warns Brexit may not pass EU parliament

The European Parliament's coordinator on Brexit has warned the parliament won't vote for the Brexit deal if the UK government sticks to its plan for EU nationals living here.

Guy Verhofstadt told the Today programme the parliament has the final say in Brexit and at the moment it will "not be a yes" should the government create what he calls a "second class citizenship".
