Russia-US danger levels 'unseen since Cold War'

The West is facing a level of danger not seen since the Cold War, the former chief of MI6, John Sawers, told the Today programme.

He also said communication lines should be kept open but "does not approve of what President Trump is doing" by tweeting messages.
