Jeremy Corbyn to David Cameron: Cuts have consequences

The government has failed to realise that "cuts have consequences", Jeremy Corbyn has said, in his response to the Queen's Speech.

The Labour leader said austerity was a "political choice" not an economic necessity, and accused the government of failing Britain.

He said the proposed new laws unveiled on Wednesday would not create a more equal society or deliver opportunities for all.
