Rival sides battle over European Union referendum claims

The controversy about whether countries such as Turkey should join the European Union is further fuelling the referendum debate.

David Cameron attacked a claim by one of his own ministers, who suggested Britain had no veto over Turkish accession.

Elsewhere there are conflicting claims about the state of the NHS, should Britain vote to leave the EU.
