Arrest over Lennon hate message

A man has been arrested in connection with alleged sectarian offences on the internet thought to be related to hate messages posted about the Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

The arrest of the man, who is 24 and from Callander, was part of a joint operation with the new national football policing unit.

It came on the day the Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill visited the unit which has been created to crackdown on sectarian behaviour.
