Loss of 'unique' way of life warning

A warning has been issued that a unique example of a way of life is in danger of being lost.

A traditional croft house in Caithness has come on to the market.

Although the house and outbuildings are largely dilapidated, experts have said that they could be restored and preserved.

The fear is that potential buyers may be more interested in developing the land surrounding the buildings leaving the croft to crumble.
