Stalker victim's father: 'Bring back hanging'

The father of Stewart Taylor, who was murdered by a stalker who had targeted him and his girlfriend, has said hanging should be brought back for such crimes.

Frank Moore was found guilty of killing Mr Taylor and leaving Lynsey Methven for dead in the city's Grange area in February.

At the High Court in Edinburgh, he was given a life sentence and told he would have to spend at least 22 years in jail before he could apply for parole.

Speaking outside court, Mr Taylor's father, Derek Alexander, said his son had been "in the wrong place at the wrong time".
