Public sector strikes in Scotland
Services across Scotland have been disrupted as up to 300,000 public sector workers joined colleagues in the rest of the UK in a strike over pension and job changes.
Most schools were closed for the day and thousands of NHS appointments were cancelled, with travel services also affected.
BBC Scotland has compiled footage of marches across the country, starting with Edinburgh where police estimated 7,000 people took part in the march and rally.
Trades union officials have said the turnout was much higher.
