Reamonn Gormley murderer jailed

The man convicted of murdering the Lanarkshire student Reamonn Gormley has been jailed for life.

Daryn Maxwell, of Blantyre, must spend at least 19 years in prison.

Barry Smith pled guilty to culpable homicide and was sentenced to eight years and three months for helping plan a robbery.

Reamonn's family have said the trauma and grief they had gone through could not be put into words.
