Press and Journal goes tabloid

Scotland's oldest newspaper has been printed for the last time as a broadsheet.

The Aberdeen-based Press and Journal began life in 1747 and will publish daily as a tabloid.

The new format has been trialled at weekends and on Mondays.

Editor Damian Bates has said the new format is what readers want.
