Paul McBride QC found dead in Lahore
Paul McBride, one of the most highly regarded and highest-profile criminal lawyers in Scotland, has been found dead in a hotel room in Lahore, Pakistan.
The 47-year-old QC represented well-known clients including Celtic FC and Gail Sheridan.
Lawyer Aamer Anwar was travelling with Mr McBride and has described how he found his colleague's body.
The trial of two men accused of sending parcel bombs to Mr McBride, the Celtic manager Neil Lennon and former MSP Trish Godman has been postponed for a day as a mark of respect.
