Leveson: Observer accessed bank account, says Salmond

Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond has said his bank account was accessed by the Observer newspaper in 1999.

The SNP leader made the claim while giving evidence to the Leveson Inquiry into press standards.

Responding to Mr Salmond's claim, a spokeswoman for the Observer said she was not yet in a position to make any comment.
