West Lothian Council 'committed' to saving Hall's of Broxburn
West Lothian Council will convene a special meeting to discuss the closure of the Hall's meat processing plant in Broxburn.
Closure of the factory would result in the loss of 1,700 jobs at the site.
John McGinty, leader of the council, spoke to BBC Good Morning Scotland.
He said: "We will leave no stone unturned in our effort to try and ensure that the plant has a future and that we secure the jobs."
