Police warn of high attempted suicide rates in Scotland

Police are warning that the number of attempted suicides in Scotland are "startling".

Scotland's suicide rate is around 80% higher than England and Wales.

Officers in Tayside alone are being called to around 150 attempted or threatened suicides every month.
