Paralympian Maggie McEleny's delight at carrying torch

Scottish Paralympic swimmer Maggie McEleny carried the torch in the last leg of the journey to the stadium park and the opening ceremony.

She has paraplegia and epilepsy due to a head injury suffered in childhood.

Maggie has taken part in four Paralympics, winning three golds, five silvers and seven bronze medals.

She told BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme: "Good luck to everyone taking part in the Paralympic Games and especially to the 27 Scots taking part."
