Olympian parade route in Glasgow

Scotland's Olympic and Paralympic athletes who took part in London 2012 will parade through Glasgow this afternoon.

Tens of thousands of people are expected to line the streets of the city.

Most of the medallists have returned home for the event including cyclist Sir Chris Hoy, rower Kathleen Grainger and swimmer Michael Jamieson.

The parade will begin at Kelvingrove at 16:15 and events will finish in George Square at about 18:00.
