Warning Scots workers at risk from cuts to safety exec
A new report has warned Scotland's workforce is being put at risk by "drastic cuts" at the Health and Safety Executive.
The report published by Stirling University academics has claimed the number of inspections carried out by the HSE has plummeted.
It suggests inspections are now so rare it is unlikely most workers will ever encounter an inspector in their entire working lifetime.
Professor Andrew Watterson, the report's author, spoke to BBC Scotland's David Henderson.
