No charges over Edinburgh City Council's repairs scandal

BBC Scotland has learned no-one involved with Edinburgh's property repairs controversy is to face criminal charges.

Lothian and Borders Police had been investigating allegations of fraud and corruption in the city council's property conservation department after hundreds of residents complained of over-charging and poor workmanship.

It has emerged they have found no evidence of any criminal wrongdoing.
