Crew tackle blaze at North Berwick fire station

Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue service says emergency cover in North Berwick will not be affected by a major blaze at the town's fire station.

The retained building and two appliances were badly damaged in the fire.

More than 40 firefighters were called in to bring the flames under control.

Craig McLaren, the local shopkeeper who raised the alarm, told BBC Scotland how he discovered the blaze.
