Kimberley Hainey's conviction for son's murder overturned
Kimberley Hainey, who was convicted of murdering her toddler son, is to be freed from jail after her conviction was quashed.
The 38-year-old mother was jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum of 15 years for killing Declan at their home in Paisley.
His body was found in his cot in March 2010, eight months after he was last seen alive.
Appeal court judges have overturned Ms Hainey's convictions for murder and attempting to evade justice.
