Details of £20m cycling boost unveiled
Scottish Transport Minister Keith Brown has announced how an additional £20m funding to promote cycling will be spent.
The money will support the Community Links programme run by Sustrans Scotland, which is open to bids from all local authorities across the country for infrastructure projects to promote cycling and walking.
Speaking at a Cycling Summit in Edinburgh, Mr Brown said it demonstrated the Scottish government's commitment to cycling infrastructure.
The government wants 10% of all journeys to be done by bike by 2020.
BBC Scotland's Emma Ailes reports.
