Wildlife photo pioneer Champion's work goes on display
The work of a pioneer of wildlife photography has gone on display in Dumfries.
Frederick Walter Champion developed techniques such as trip-wire technology that are still used today.
A collection of his images are held by the Natural History Museum in London who have loaned 50 to the local museum close to where the adopted Scot made his home.
Tiger Tiger exhibition will be on display in Dumfries Museum until 9 November.
