Knight's Peak does not measure up to be a Munro
Scotland has lost one of its highest mountains.
Experts surveyed Knight's Peak, on the Isle of Skye, and found that it is not the required height to be classified as a Munro.
The peak, in the Cuillins, has been downgraded because it is six and a half inches short of 3,000ft.
BBC News Scotland's Craig Anderson reports.
