Models of two BAE shipyard options on the Clyde

Defence firm BAE has unveiled proposals for two of its manufacturing facilities on the Clyde.

One of the options for Glasgow is a £100m two-site strategy, involves expanding and improving existing facilities at Govan and Scotstoun.

The second option is a £200m single site strategy which involves building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Scotstoun.

The company has said there will be no firm decision on the proposal until later in 2014.
