Black grouse thriving in Trossachs woodland scheme

Conservationists have credited a woodland restoration project for encouraging a thriving population of rare black grouse in the Trossachs.

The Woodland Trust, RSPB Scotland and Forestry Commission Scotland have been working together on a scheme which they say has benefitted wildlife and the landscape.

An area of woodland the size of Glasgow is being restored.

BBC Scotland's environment correspondent David Miller reports.
