A former D-Day nurse who worked in Normandy says: 'It was just a job'

Friday, 6 June, marks the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy.

Men and women played their part in the biggest seaborne invasion of World War Two.

Phyllis Henninger, from Dundee, was a newly qualified nurse when she joined the army and headed to France.

The 93 year old dismissed the suggestion that her bravery during the war made her a hero: "It was just a job", she told BBC Scotland's Andrew Anderson.
