Algeria plane crash: 'Too early' for conclusions - Hollande

There are no survivors from the Air Algerie AH5017 passenger jet which crashed near Mali's border with Burkina Faso, says French President Francois Hollande.

He told reporters that soldiers have secured the crash site and begun investigations into what caused Thursday's tragedy.

However, Mr Hollande said it was too early to draw conclusions, and said his thoughts were with the 116 passengers who died, 51 of them French citizens, and their families.
