Scottish independence: Advert promotes referendum turnout
A major campaign to maximise voter turn-out in September's independence referendum has begun.
The ad by the Electoral Commission will run on TV and online. It's sending information to all two and a half million Scottish households. It details how to register and the different ways of casting your vote.
Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon says the country can become "fairer" but only if there is a Yes vote.
Scottish Secretary Alistair Carmichael of the pro-union Better Together campaign say her ideas lack clarity and detail.
