Sharkey family killers begin appeal
Two men jailed for murdering three members of a Helensburgh family by setting fire to their home have begun their appeal.
Scott Snowden and Robert Jennings are appealing against their conviction and sentence for killing Thomas Sharkey Snr, Bridget and Thomas Jnr in July 2011.
Their sentences, of at least 33 and 29 years respectively, are among the longest ever passed in Scotland.
