Nicola Sturgeon orders flags at half-mast for France

The first minister of Scotland has ordered that French flags on Scottish government buildings are to be flown at half-mast as a sign of respect for those murdered in Paris.

Nicola Sturgeon expressed her condolences during the inaugural First Minister's Questions of 2015, and said she had spoken earlier to the Consul General of France.

Twelve people died when three gunmen attacked satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday.
