Call to strengthen Scottish budget scrutiny
Scottish Labour has called for an independent Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) for Scotland.
It comes as the Scottish National Party introduce their Budget for government in Holyrood this week.
Labour finance spokeswoman Jackie Baillie told the Sunday Politics Scotland programme independent economic forecasting and analysis was needed in light of oil forecasts during the referendum campaign.
But SNP MP Stewart Hosie said oil revenues were still not in the control of the Scottish government and that the Scottish Fiscal Commission negated the need for a Scottish OBR.
