Inverness plane skid: 'It was quite scary at the time'

A passenger on a plane that skidded off the runway at Inverness airport says she "feels lucky" to have escaped unhurt.

The Flybe flight from Manchester had landed at the airport when it went onto grass.

Tracy told BBC Radio Scotland's Newsdrive programme about the moment when the passengers realised something was wrong: "It makes you realise anything could happen when you're on a plane.

"It could have gone on its side or it could have ripped the bottom underneath and gone up in flames, you just never know, do you, so I just feel lucky now."

All 48 passengers and four crew were unhurt in the incident.
