Rescued skipper 'did not prepare' for sea conditions

A creel boat skipper, missing in the North Sea with his grandson for two days, has been heavily criticised by marine accident investigators.

Jim Reid and his grandson David Irvine had spoken of their ordeal describing how they had survived on two biscuits between them.

The men had got lost in fog after leaving the Aberdeenshire port of Gourdon in May 2014.

BBC Scotland's Steven Duff reports.
