MSPs quiz police bosses about stop-and-search data

Scotland's most senior police officer Stephen House and Assistant Chief Constable Wayne Mawson are answering MSPs' questions on the stop-and-search data

Last week, Chief Constable Stephen House said that Police Scotland had been compelled to release what he called "inaccurate" data but correspondence has emerged between the police and commissioner which appears to contradict his claim.

Deputy Chief Constable Rose Fitzpatrick, Calum Steele of the Scottish Police Federation, Vic Emery and John Foley of the Scottish Police Authority are also giving evidence to the Justice sub-committee of the Scottish Parliament.
