Scottish Tory conference: Ruth Davidson says 'put parents in driving seat'
Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson believes her party has the right policies to boost "parent power" in Scotland.
The MSP told delegates at the party's conference: "No one knows better than parents how to bring up their children and to organise their lives and our plan for flexible childcare will put parents, and not the government, in the driving seat when it comes to making the right choices for our young people's future."
The one-day conference comes head of the general election on 7 May.
