Chained protesters cut free at Faslane naval base

Anti-nuclear protesters who chained themselves together at a demonstration at Faslane naval base on the Clyde have been cut free by police.

About 250 people gathered in the Bairns Not Bombs demonstration to try to stop workers entering the base, which is home to the UK's Trident nuclear weapons system.

Dozens chained themselves together to block the entrances.
