Glasgow bin lorry crash set for further hearing

A further preliminary hearing into the Glasgow bin lorry crash is to be held before the fatal accident inquiry can go ahead on the scheduled date of 22 July.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard lawyers for victims' families wanted to commission reports relating to the lorry and driver, and still had to see all the evidence.

Six people died and 10 were injured when the council bin lorry crashed into pedestrians in Glasgow city centre on 22 December last year.

BBC Scotland's Catriona Renton reports from Glasgow Sheriff Court.
