Snow whirl set for Thursday afternoon

The Met Office has issued a yellow "be aware" weather warning for snow for much of Scotland.

Central Scotland, Fife, the Highlands and islands, Strathclyde and Tayside can expect snow and low temperatures to sweep in on Thursday afternoon.

Driving conditions could be difficult and disruption to transport is possible.

The warning is in place until Thursday at 23:00.
