SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon: 'Education before independence'
Scottish National Party leader Nicola Sturgeon has been speaking to Reporting Scotland ahead of the Holyrood election on 5 May.
She told presenter Sally Magnusson that, if re-elected as first minister, her top priority would be to close the attainment gap in education despite plans to begin another push to spread the Scottish electorate of the benefits of an independent Scotland: "If opinion doesn't shift we won't earn the right to ask the question again."
Ms Sturgeon also answered questions on taxation, doubling the hours of free childcare and decentralising power to local community councils.
