Scottish National Party view of independence

The leaders of the main political parties in Scotland have asked been asked for their views on Scottish independence.

Scottish National Party leader Nicola Sturgeon says that a second independence referendum should be held when the majority of the electorate are in favour or if there is a "significant or material change in the circumstances"; and a campaign will get underway in the summer to persuade people of the case for independence.
