Battle of Jutland remembered on Orkney

Commemoration events have been held to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Jutland.

Prime Minister David Cameron, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Princess Anne and German President Joachim Guack were joined by descendents of those who served during the war.

A service at Kirkwall's St Magnus Cathedral was followed by a ceremony at the Lyness Royal Naval Cemetery on Hoy, where Commonwealth servicemen and German sailors from World War One are buried.

BBC Scotland's John Johnston and Dave Gray looked back over the day's events for BBC Radio Orkney and Shetland with Fionn McArthur, Robbie Fraser and David Delday.
