Family cast doubt over 'natural causes' death in Israel

The family of a Scottish woman who died in Israel have said a post-mortem report into her death casts doubt over claims she died of natural causes.

Authorities in the tourist town of Eilat said Julie Pearson, from Kinross, died after collapsing in the Dolphin guest house in November.

It has taken her relatives eight months to obtain the post-mortem report which acknowledges that Ms Pearson appeared to have been beaten by her ex-boyfriend the day before she died.

Her aunt Deborah Pearson told the BBC that she wants the case re-examined: "I do want it to go back to court and I want this man punished for what he has done".
