David Mundell says talk of indyref2 is an economic risk
David Mundell has called on Nicola Sturgeon to restore economic confidence by taking a second independence referendum off the table.
Doing so would increase business confidence and job creation, he said.
The Scottish Secretary said the UK government is already doing all it can for Scotland through a series of city deals and by negotiating the best possible deal for the whole of the UK following the June vote to leave the European Union.
The first minister had earlier accused Westminster of not acting quickly enough to boost the economy in the Brexit fall out.
