Charity 'inundated' after dog and case left at Ayr station

The Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has been "inundated" with offers of help after a dog was abandoned at a Scottish railway station with its belongings in a suitcase.

Kai, a male Shar-Pei crossbreed, was discovered tied to a railing outside Ayr station on 2 January.

Aileen Clarke reports.
