Ex-first minister Henry McLeish on independence issue
Former first minister Henry McLeish says Scottish Labour needs to offer its vision on the future of Scotland ahead of a referendum on independence.
He told BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme that the party should engage in a debate about the country's future with its people.
Mr McLeish was speaking after the SNP conference in which delegates were told the campaign for independence was now under way.
