John Swinney warns Osborne 'don't talk down Scotland'
Scotland's Finance Secretary John Swinney has warned UK Chancellor George Osborne not to "talk down Scotland" and its economy.
He was responding to Mr Osborne's accusations that the "uncertainty over an independence referendum" was damaging the economic fortunes of Scotland.
Mr Swinney told BBC Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme that he was happy to have an evidence-based debate, but he added that so far there was no evidence from the UK coalition.
