Labour leader Johann Lamont says 'Falkirk process unedifying'
The leader of the Scottish Labour Party believed it was important to get beyond the "unedifying" process dominating Falkirk's Westminster candidate selection process.
Johann Lamont told BBC Radio Scotland's Good Morning Scotland programme that it was time to get on and choose a candidate.
She said: "I am absolutely convinced that when a candidate is selected their focus will be on engaging again with the electorate rather than the process which is currently going on, which is deeply unedifying."
