Ruth Davidson: Scotland 'needs a break' from indyref2

Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson has hailed the party’s best result in Scotland for 35 years.

Speaking in Edinburgh, Ms Davidson urged Nicola Sturgeon to take plans for a second independence referendum off the table to "give Scotland a break".

The Conservatives have increased their number of Scottish MPs from one to 13.
