Alun Michael MP: South Wales police and crime commissioner hopeful

The former policing minister and Labour MP Alun Michael says he wants to become the first police and crime commissioner for South Wales.

If he is nominated as the Labour candidate, Mr Michael says he will stand down as MP for Cardiff South and Penarth, before the election in November.

Here, he speaks with Bethan Rhys Roberts on BBC Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales programme.
