Parents watch rowers Chris Bartley and Vicky Thornley
The parents of two Welsh rowers are waiting anxiously for them to take to the water.
Chris Bartley, from Wrexham, will have his chance to make Olympic history in the lightweight Coxless Four Final.
It is also a big day for the Women's Eight where St Aspah-born Vicky Thornley will try and improve on their slightly disappointing start to the Games.
Chris's mother, Sue, and Vicky's father, Andrew, both spoke to Radio Wales' Oliver Hides.
